McDonald's 50th Birthday

McDonald’s biggest ever brand campaign celebrating their 50th Anniversary which invites the nation to experience the feeling of an iconic McDonald’s party. Tapping into the insight that for millions of people, no party has ever hit quite like a McDonald’s party, this campaign aims to reawaken those nostalgic memories for fans new and old.

A complete visual identity - including a new logo design, colour system, graphic devices and typeface, featured across print, press, social, digital, in-store and AV.

To celebrate further, an exclusively designed ‘50th Birthday’ merchandise collection, available at the brand’s first ever pop-up shop and online store. The ‘I Had My Birthday Party at McDonald’s’ range commemorates the iconic slogan, patterns, prints and characters from the 80’s, becoming much loved collectibles for long-time fans.
